WEDDINGS
Monty's audience-engaging style and musical versatility has made him one of the most sought after entertainers in Western Australia for weddings, engagement parties and other private functions. Monty covers a broad range of styles from rock and roll and country to R&B and modern pop. Both individual session and package options are available for the ceremony, canapes, reception, DJ and MC.
Choose the songs for your special day – a sample song list is below. Feel free to choose your favourite bands, musical genres, and songs and we can focus on those to make your night one to remember! Monty can also learn selected songs for those special moments during the ceremony and the wedding reception.
Monty is available as a solo one man band, duo, trio and big band act. Popular options include duo with violin for the ceremony, then a band playing all the best party tunes for the reception! The band is usually Monty with double bass and fiddle (violin) and/or drums, but other popular options include piano accordion, and a brass section (saxaphone/trumpet). It’s totally up to the bride- and groom-to-be!

Cannot thank Monty enough for making our son and daughter in laws wedding the most amazing night. From some specifically requested, beautiful renditions during the ceremony to belting out all the party numbers after the reception, Monty was an absolute star! His ability to play on request added to the atmosphere, right down to the very last song of the night and allowing the Bride to sing (or “screech”) a duet with him. I just wanted to say thanks to Monty and band for performing at our wedding in the Barossa Valley. The guys were unreal and just made our night so special for us. We couldn’t have asked for a cooler band to come and play at our wedding, and we are still talking about how great of a time we had. Monty took the time to learn our “walking down the aisle” song Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran. His arrangement of this song was simply beautiful and his style complemented our day in every way. Our guests commented that during our pre reception drinks. Monty was interactive and fun, playing a range of songs which everyone was happy to dance to.
Our first dance song was performed at the end of the pre reception drinks, another song we requested Monty learn being Latch by Sam Smith. Again Monty’s version of the song was amazing and heartfelt. Agreeably a hard song to sing considering the vocal range required! Thank you again for your assistance and our warmest regards and gratitude again to Monty. We will definitely book Monty again for future events.
